4.6/5 from 6,000+ reviews. One original in a category of shared designs.
In 2020, the massage gun had two design references: Theragun and Hyperice’s Hypervolt. Around them, almost every brand sold the same T-shaped ODM guns, each with a different logo. The category was growing fast. No one owned its design language yet.

A flagship Opove could call its own: distinctive at first glance, premium in the hand, and credible in North America, Europe and Japan.
Designing it was half the work. The other half was keeping that intent intact all the way to the mould.

Miio Studio designed Apex from the inside out, through DFM, including its name and logo.
A one-piece grip. Opove’s engineering team wanted a parting line across the lower handle to simplify tooling. It would have cut the handle in two, visually and physically, and with it the product’s premium perception. We showed how it could be demoulded in one piece, and why it was non-negotiable. They went with it.
Re-engineered architecture. The original motor layout wasted height and length. We redesigned the mechanical and structural architecture to make Apex more compact. Opove adopted it.
A 45° handle. The hand sits closer to the point being massaged, with a firmer grip and reach to every part of the body.
Asymmetry, with nothing to hide. On one side, the black disc that carries the logo, with the motor’s hot air exiting beneath it. On the other, one continuous curvature, with a window onto the motor. You see the product at work.
Easy to hold. Impossible to mistake.
